Hoson is a writer and journalist from Hong Kong. His role is to write articles on collecting, trading, and grading Pokémon cards. Hoson has been collecting Pokémon cards since they were first released in 1996 and he still loves hunting for hidden gems.

Who is your favorite Pokémon?

It has to be Squirtle. All three Kanto starters are memorable in their own ways. But Squirtle get’s my vote!

How would you describe your playing style?

I like playing control decks when I’m competing. When I’m playing casually, I love experimenting with rogue decks to test combos for competitive play!

What is your favorite Pokémon card?

Blastoise from the original Base Set. It’s such a nostalgic card for me. I’m also a sucker for the Squirtle evolutions!
