1. PTCG Content Mission
Levels PTCG releases content to teach and inspire anyone interested in playing or collecting the Pokémon Trading Card Game (PTCG). We act as a trusted guide for players and collectors at all levels to improve their skills and knowledge in the hobby.
Core communities we serve include:
- Competitive players
- Casual players
- Hardcore collectors
- New collectors

2. What We Cover
We only publish content about the Pokémon Trading Card Game (PTCG). We do not cover video games, anime, manga, any other Pokémon sub-niches, or other TCGs.
You can expect the following PTCG content from us:
- Learning guides.
- Product and card reviews.
- Competitive strategies (meta and deck-building).
- Collecting insights.
- Unique perspectives on current news.
We do not cover the following:
- Non-PTCG-related topics.
- Counterfeit products.
3. Content Creation Process
We pride ourselves on delivering accurate, reliable, and trustworthy content. To achieve this, we follow an internal content creation process detailed below:
A) Information Sourcing
Our PTCG information is primarily obtained directly from our team of content creators, who are Pokémon TCG experts. Together, they have over 30 years of combined playing and collecting experience in Pokémon cards exclusively. This means you can rely on their unique knowledge and insights.
Sometimes, they may also refer to other information sources. In such instances, they will cite information only from credible and official channels such as:
- The Official Pokémon TCG website, rulebook, and product announcements.
- Verified metagame and tournament data.
- Reputable fan sites and marketplaces such as Bulbapedia and TCG Player.
B) Content Workflow
After obtaining the relevant information, our team of writers and videographers gets started with creating content. This begins with a content draft that details the relevant subtopics in order to comprehensively cover the main topic.
After the draft has been approved by our Chief Editor, Kalam Tang, our internal team of writers and video creators begins creating the content.
The content draft is then fact-checked by Kalam Tang for content accuracy, relevancy, and up-to-dateness. Only after fact-checking will the content be published.
C) Publication
Levels PTCG content comes in two formats: blog posts and videos. Blog posts are published on this website, whilst videos are published on YouTube.
D) Corrections
Content revisions sometimes need to be made to keep information up-to-date and correct. Small corrections are made silently without notifications. Significant corrections are made with a clearly visible banner at the top of the revised content. The banner will explain what corrections were made and why.
4. Voice & Style
Pokémon TCG has gained global popularity mainly in part due to the inclusive nature of the hobby- everyone is welcome to play and collect. In line with this, Levels PTCG communicates with a voice and style that is easy to understand, concise, and professional.
Our aim is to make content that is both useful and engaging for you. As such, we always write in a clear, enthusiastic, and confident manner.
5. Community Standards
Levels PTCG permits user-generated comments in order to promote discussion and idea sharing. All comments are moderated before they’re published. We do not tolerate:
- Misinformation
- Illegal content
- Abuse, harassment, or inappropriate language
7. Guest Posts
We welcome external contributions in the form of guest posts. All guest contributors undergo an initial interview with Kalam Tang, our Chief Editor, who screens the candidate for expertise and knowledge.
Candidates who show they have the relevant expertise in Pokémon TCG can then proceed with drafting a content plan for review and approval.
Finally, the content is created and fact-checked before publication.

8. Monetization & Advertising
Levels PTCG is a free resource. However, we implement monetization through ads, product recommendations, and affiliate links that help keep the website running. Furthermore, these monetization methods do not cost you anything beyond what you would normally pay if you were to purchase a product or service.

10. Copyright And Legal Disclaimer
We are a fansite and in no way affiliated with the Pokémon Company or Nintendo. We do not publish fan art, copyrighted/trademarked material, or any other content that would violate The Pokémon Company’s intellectual property rights.
If legal issues arise, we will promptly review and address the complaint.
